The memorial service for Carla Linda Hamilton will be at — p.m. Monday at Memory Gardens Mortuary in Medford. Pastor Stan Johnson of West Main Church of Christ will officiate.
Mrs. Hamilton, 50, of Ruch, died Friday (Jan. 5, 2001) at Rogue Valley Medical Center.

She was born Carla Carls on Nov. 23, 1950, in Roseburg. She received a bachelor's degree from Northwest Christian College in Eugene. On Aug. 19, 1990, in Sunriver, she married Sam Hamilton, who survives.
Mrs. Hamilton was a directory assistance operator for AT&T. She later worked for U.S. West in the business office and selling yellow page ads.
She was a member and steward of CWA Union (Communication Workers of America).
Mrs. Hamilton enjoyed gardening, traveling and reading.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include a stepson, Devin Hamilton, Loda, Ill.; a brother, Gary Patterson, Portland; and a sister, Karen Vermeer, Eugene. She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Gladys Ohman Carls.
