Sally Grimsrud

Born and raised in Elkton, Oregon. I have traveled to many places, including St. Croix USVI where I taught grade 6 for 3 years. I have lived in Salem Oregon where I taught grade 3 and 4 for 3 years, Eugene (taught grades 3,4 and Reading Specialist for 10 years), southern Oregon, northern California (taught grade 4 for 8 years), and currently live in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam, where I teach grade 2 at International School Saigon Pearl. I will probably stay here, with one or two visits back to Oregon/Washington a year, until retirement, or who knows, venture on to Alaska to teach in the bush. (I did end up staying in VietNam for 2 years and then going to the Alaskan Bush, which is where I am now. I will retire in 1 1/2 years and then settle in my home in Eugene, Oregon.)

Project Prometheus is one of my most vivid memories from my high school days. Too bad the program was so short-lived. Penny Colvin and I reconnected at a conference for gifted students many years later, and became good friends. We haven't been in touch for quite awhile. Hi Penny! Curtis White, are you out there?
